Traveling is an important part of a well-rounded education. The exposure to other places and cultures opens the mind and spirit. It is also exploring, and the challenge of going into the unknown. Usually, it is adventure.

On my first trip to the White Continent someone asked me "Why are you going to Antarctica?", I replied without hesitation "Because it's there". I didn't know it then, but despite it being a good answer, it wasn't quite correct. I should have rather replied "Because I can't afford not to go."

Through the years, I've had a long and treacherous love/hate relationship with my camera. Sometimes we travel together. Some other times, she stays home. These are some of the times she came along.

Colombia - Dec. 2005 - A very nice family reunion, with a bit of SCUBA. One week in Bogota and another in the Gulf of Morrosquillo.
