Bonaire is a diver's paradise. Our trip there was catalised by comments from a friend in the flying club who told us beautiful things about this little island. Everything he said was true. It was our first time diving alone, which was intimidating, since it was in combination with our first time shore-diving, but it went very well. I was going to go kiteboarding on our decompression day but it was the only day with no usable wind. Ugh!

On the way back we stayed 2 days in Puerto Rico.

(Gallery has 42 pix).

.

Mountains of salt. It was a surreal landscape on the south side of the island.
